About Us

The Harvest (द हार्वेस्ट) is an independent website that makes Indian agriculture information easy to find and understand in Hindi and English. We cover daily mandi prices, minimum support prices (MSP), crop seasons, farm schemes and farming tools such as calculators.

Not a government website. The Harvest is an independent information publication. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the Government of India, any state government, ministry, department or official scheme portal. We summarise publicly available official information for farmers.

What we publish

• Mandi prices: daily market prices drawn from official government open data, shown without changes. See Mandi Bhav Today.
• MSP and government announcements: summaries of Cabinet decisions with the official figures — for example Rabi MSP 2026-27 and Kharif MSP 2026-27.
• Tools: free calculators and calendars on Kisan Tools.
• Guides: plain-language explainers on crops, schemes and farm finance.

How we work

Every figure we publish is traced to an official or primary source, which we name on the page. Our process is described in our editorial policy and data sources & methodology. If we get something wrong, we correct it as set out in our corrections policy.

Our editorial team

Articles are written and reviewed by The Harvest Editorial Team, who research official announcements and open data and present them in simple language. We do not provide personal farming, financial or legal advice — please consult your local Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), agriculture department or a qualified professional for decisions about your farm.
